Advanced Digital X-rays
When your pet is sick or injured, X-rays (radiographs) help us evaluate their internal structures without invasive testing. Digital radiography allows our veterinarians to evaluate bones, joints, and internal organs quickly and accurately, often providing answers in minutes.

Why digital makes a difference
Compared to traditional film X-rays, digital X-rays produce crisp, high-resolution images instantly. That means a quicker diagnosis, fewer delays, and less stress for pets and their people. Plus, we can enhance images after they’re taken, often eliminating the need for retakes.
Lower radiation, greater comfort
Modern digital technology requires less radiation than older X-ray methods. With fewer exposures and shorter imaging times, pets are safer and more comfortable.

When we recommend X-rays
We may recommend X-rays if your pet experiences the following:
- Limping or injury
- Known trauma (e.g., fall or hit by a car)
- Breathing changes or coughing
- Vomiting, diarrhea, or a painful abdomen
- Neurologic issues, such as loss of coordination or mobility
- Abnormal lab results
X-rays aren’t only for sick or injured pets; they may also be used for pregnancy checks, pre-anesthetic screening, and monitoring chronic conditions.
On-site imaging, rapid results
With the ability to obtain clear diagnostic images in-house and easily share them with board-certified radiologists, we can quickly get the information we need to guide your pet’s care.
